Films

Laura Di Trapani’s personal and professional body of films. This includes her extensive work on Sesame Street, music videos, and art installations. Her most recent project, Exquisite Corpse, centers a trans-continental courtship and the dance of opposites formed in their attempts to communicate- shown through a variety or collage of disparate animation styles.

Personal

Exquisite Corpse

Within the context of a trans-continental courtship, an East Indian man and an American woman try to find a common thread that can bring them together. Their correspondence becomes a dance of opposites, and like the parlor game from which the title of this film is derived, surprising connections are sometimes made. Other times,  though, the lines of communication miss their mark.

We Three

Good Grief
